Description
Through the works that Gabriel Specter created in Besançon, it is possible to realize the multiplicity of his work. Between hyperrealistic murals, installations and collages, the artist has deployed an extremely rich plastic vocabulary with a close link to the city.

Biography
Specter’s paintings and installations focus all their meaning in expression in situ: each work takes form and function from the point at which it is visible to passersby. His work includes the appropriation of advertising materials, hyperrealist collages, abstract or figurative motifs, and sculptures in cardboard or supermarket trolleys, reacting to both the small and large transformations of towns.
