Description
The historic part of the city of Besançon was built with a very specific type of stone: the Chailluz stone, from the forest of the same name. While discovering and wandering in the forest in question, Deana Kolenčiková collected stones which she diverted the use in equipping them with little wheels, ways to make roll in all the city center, for finally put in a Marulaz neighborhood community garden. Here she played with the symbolism of organic stones, which represents rather stillness, here humanized and gaining a new feature.
