Description
On the occasion of the “Ateliers pieds d’immeubles”, we proposed furniture construction workshops to the children and inhabitants of Planoise neighborhood in Besançon (FR).
Following workshops to consult the inhabitants, our two volunteers, Léonie and Marine, had the idea of these mobile wooden structures, allowing inhabitants to sit alone or in groups, to lie down, to play… The 3 structures can be grouped together or displayed on a public square or in a garden!
After participative construction and painting workshops, the Puzzle à vivre (puzzle to live) was inaugurated in August 2018, accompanied by a crêpes party thanks to our mobile kitchen/crêperie. It is now possible to find the 3 structures in the Planoise shared gardens.

Designer and independent builder, Marine works in the field of public space planning (squares, gardens, courtyards, paths, etc.) advocating a collaborative, in situ approach that involves users in the project methodology while practicing self-construction. It is particularly against the homogenization of spaces that it positions itself and thus attempts to participate in the reappropriation of public spaces as spaces of political life.
