Description
The Franco-Belgian artist duo scatter the city with miniature characters painted on a corner of a wall, a piece of rock or even on a bus or tramway. These micro-paintings are the fruit of their encounters, miniature portraits of those who have crossed their path in Besançon. Keep your eyes peeled for these Lilliputians as they set off on their journey from Clairs-Soleils!

Biographie
Mary Limonade, a Belgian artist from Liège, and Jiem, an artist from Nantes, have been working together for several years in France and abroad. Before setting up the duo Wanderlust Social Club together, each of them developed personal practices on a self-taught basis.
Fascinated by naive art and the various forms of popular painting, Mary and Jiem’s duo approach is highly instinctive and spontaneous, and all their work retains a freshness free of academic rules and standards of representation. They are also constantly questioning and searching for new areas of exploration, which makes their daily artistic work an infinite adventure.
