Description
In 2017, the festival team was mobile! Sometimes present at the venues, sometimes near artists or places of life in Besançon. Our team was present on board to inform you about the various meet-ups, to present you the books made with the artists and to supply you with fruit juice, coffee and maps of the updated artworks. Depending on the mood, the Mobilo also offered a reading area and graphic workshops: Tamponville, screen printing…
Biographies
Laurent Mesnier
Director, set designer, set and structure builder, Laurent Mesnier is part of Tricyclique Dol. Fascinated by the magic of mechanical interactions and the skillful use of materials in reactions, the artists collective sees each project as a lesson in things. From these incursions into processes and procedures of all kinds, they give their reading, their projection and invent machines, sculptures or scenographies that are lively, noisy, playful and sensory, in different ways and within different spaces to meet the public.
David Demougeot
After 10 years of associative experimentation linking contemporary music and graphic arts, David Demougeot defines the artistic line of the Bien Urbain festival since its creation in Besançon in 2011. With a particular focus on new independent artistic approaches in the public space, Bien Urbain offers artists a flexible framework where improvisation is encouraged in a search for meaning in context. It is part of the national mission for art and culture in the public space as a qualified personality and is vice-president of the french Federation of urban art.
