Description
For the second edition of Bien Urbain, we wished to equip ourselves with a temporary reception structure to be shared with other actors of the Battant district of Besançon.
It is in this idea of pooling energies and proposing different modes of use to future users, that the Studiolada architects, supported by Camille des Établissements Tourneux, proposed a shelter adaptable to its topographical context, thus allowing the creation of different volumes for different uses.
Beyond a simple shelter, it was a question here of thinking of the construction of this hut as an event site. As the construction takes place in the public space, it was an important part of the process, allowing the involvement of passers-by, raising questions about the upcoming event and offering them the opportunity to take part in the construction of the whole. Making in the midst of everyone is thus an opportunity to welcome all ideas and to shelter them in a project that becomes collective from then on.
