Biography
Since 2006, Mathieu Tremblin and David Renault work together under the name of Frères Ripoulain (as a reference to the artistic collective of Parisian artists (1984-1988) often associated with the Free Figuration movement or graffiti, where the artist OX was also a member) and pin the codes and urban norms that graffiti has shaked up. Their performances deal with the ephemeral, the illegal and involve “free” spaces, the towns garbage as well as passers-by look.
