Description
HQ of the festival and ephemeral meeting point, Chez Urbain was a place of life open to all where neighbors, curious, volunteers and artists met in an atypical atmosphere between the neighborhood bar and the artistic anthill. He was at 11 rue Battant in Besançon for the 4th, 5th and 6th edition of the festival, in June 2014, June July and August 2015 and June 2016 respectively.
Bien Urbain
The Bien Urbain, art in (and with) public space festival welcomes each summer in Besançon a dozen international artists among the most influential of their generation, for a creation time of about two weeks to one month. Everyone comes in their own way to surprise us by intervening in (and with) public space, taking over walls, streets and parks through murals, installations or multimedia creations. The festival team offers to take this step aside with them, through visits or during meetings, conferences and workshops and other public events free or at free price.
