The Attitudes mineures scenario is based on the question of the individual and collective habits and behaviours of teenagers in high school or in the city, behaviours and habits that experience or go beyond prescriptions and regulations. It is developed during a three-day workshop in two stages: a first phase of writing and drawing with all the pupils in the class; a second phase of actions in situation within the school with volunteer pupils during class time.
The action documentary Attitudes mineurs was produced on the occasion of Mathieu Tremblin’s eponymous residency at the Professionnel High School Montciel, Lons-le-Saunier, with the invitation of the Juste Ici association and the Highschool, as the as part of the “Visual Artists in High School” 2016-2017 scheme initiated by the Burgundy-Franche-Comté Region with the support of the DRAC and in partnership with the DRAC of the Rectorate of the Academy of Besançon and the DRAAF.
Founding member of the duo Les frères Ripoulain since 2006, Mathieu tremblin lives in Strasbourg and works in Europe. His inspiration comes from anonymous autonomous spontaneous practices and expression in public spaces and stage simple and fun action to question legal system and representations linked to the city. He prefers contextual intervention in public space, performed walk, tool hacking and creation but also publishing, installation, photography and videos to document his work.
