ELTONO – guest artist of CLEA
Eltono is a French artist who intervenes in the public space through a very large practice, including murals, last fifteen years.
Being part of a tune he painted repeatedly on the walls, he now plays with the lines to repeat this and make it a sufficiently constant graphic pattern to be at the same time identified and changing enough to fit in a given context. With ever special attention for the architecture, it is his way of articulating the lines and the colors, which allows him to adapt to the surfaces on which he paints.
Apart from painting, his achievements may also be found in the form of installations or “stealth intervention” as he calls them.
The goal is often to create with elements already present in the city.
